I'm seeking a hiking buddy 25-35 years old, and who is able to hike on weekends- rain, shine, or snow. Please be in decent shape and condition- capable of doing moderate to strenuous trails.
Near North Seattle is a plus.
Hit me up if you are interested via PM.
What's wrong with us old folks? Too slow? Too jaded and judgmental? Too ugly? Genuinely curious... I prefer hiking with people who have more outdoor knowledge and life experience than me, as long as they can keep a decent pace (as many over-35 folks on this site most certainly can) and don't talk too much.
Because there is a significant chance of creating a more all-around friendship than just hiking specific only. I do a lot of hiking but I also like other fun activities as well, and there is often an smoothed connection with others of the same age.
I've hiked with other folk on this forum who was older, it turned out to be just a one time thing. So thats my reasoning.
