I agree. I used to get so sort of seasonal disorder when I lived in Deer Park over by Spokane. By about August, I would start feeling down about the oppressively hot sun and long for the 60-65 degree days we would sometimes get that time of year on the west side.

I spent the last week in Winthrop. It never got above 25F while we were there. I went for a night ski from the town trailhead and it hit -9F. But there was a lot of sun. The snow reflects light back up at you, it's bright, not dreary. And it's not wet.
