Managed to squeeze a powder day before the warmup. The snow started right at the turnoff from MLoop, got deeper to about 5" at the TH. We were stopped at ~1/4 mile from the trail, hiked to the first open meadow after two easy creek crossings. Skinning all teh way to the summit.
Easy enough to snake through boulders in Wirtz Basin, then up steep but soft snow to Headlee Pass:
Finally the sun!
Reached the summit ~2:30pm, gorgeous views all around:
The snow was denser, but still fun skiing:

Beautiful shots. Things weren't so clear today, with a weird smog (?) layer obstructing views in every direction.
