And more:
July 14 to 20: North Fork Sauk Trail Brushing (key feeder to PCT, Glacier Peak South). Come support the PCTA's long term effort to maintain the PCT through the rugged Glacier Peak Wilderness! This crew will spend a week maintaining the most important access route to the PCT in the area. The North Fork Sauk trail is the only PCT feeder trail currently open to stock on the Darrington Ranger District. The Forest Service will be blasting rocks off the PCT near Red Pass in August. This project will make their work possible by opening the area to pack animals. https://www.pcta.org/volunteer-project/glacier-peak-wilderness-brushing/
July 25-29: Harts Pass to Rainy Pass. The main scope of this project is to brush the trail from Glacier Pass down to the Brush Creek Bridge. It is seriously overgrown with slide alder and vine maple. The crew will do minor log out with Katana saws as well. Afterward, your crew will continue south to Rainy Pass, brushing as you go. This one-way trip is through some of the most majestic scenery on the entire PCT. https://www.pcta.org/volunteer-project/harts-pass-to-rainy-pass/
August 10-12: Stevens Pass to Trap Pass logout. PCTA's North 350 Blades are looking for volunteers to help logout 11 miles of the PCT from the wilderness boundary near Hope Lake to Trap Pass. Your crew will backpack in via the Tunnel Creek feeder trail and set up a backcountry camp at Hope Lake. https://www.pcta.org/volunteer-project/stevens-pass-to-trap-pass-logout/
