Calling all trail crews!
When: Tuesday, February 27, 2018 starting at 9:30 a.m.
What: Trail intersection signage project on the Miller Peninsula trail system!
We have 2 routes to work this time: Manzanita and the trail loop on the East side of Diamond Point road for sign post installations.
Sign Post installations:
Del has offered to auger the post holes wherever we can get his tractor. Del gets to ride - the rest of us get to hike.
Please bring your post hole tool and favorite tamper tool if you have one. We will drill post holes, clean out the hole and place posts and refill the hole. We have several posts to plant.
This worked really good the last time - we will strap the posts to the tractor bucket and put all the tools and other loose stuff in the bucket. We drive to the designated post hole location.
Where: We will park in the Miller Peninsula trailhead parking area, sign in, have our tailgate safety briefing, split into small work groups and truck pool to the PAE road. For these first few sessions - we should be able to accomplish them without our stock.
See you next Tuesday!

... or just come for a hike with a great group (and your puppy & leash are invited)
Just completing Miller Peninsula State Park Property Interim Trail Plan, an investment of thousands of volunteer hours over several years.
