We hiked to Lake Ann, which was gorgeous.
There were some avalanches in the surrounding terrain, but the slopes around the route did not have sufficient snow yet for slides.
Snowshoes were not necessary due to a strong crust and icy conditions.
The trail was still easy to follow, which we mostly did. Rocks were covered, but probably only easy to walk over because of the curst.
We climbed up the ridge for some good views.
It looks like somebody when to Lake Ann the day before.
