At least you could kick this one over. Sounds like these are going to multiply.
Stupid Steel Thing
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

you know... if the market price of scrap steel were a bit higher, it might be worthwhile for the meth freaks to go gather those up and sell them for scrap value for their next fix.
as it is, it will doubtless be yet another wonderful opportunity for Facebook/Instagram/Snapchat selfie seekers to go out there and leave more piles of crap and toilet paper blossoms for the local municipality's maintenance crews to go clean up.

Maybe they should make them out of aluminum. It would be lighter and ….. well, I have no idea what the aluminum market is so maybe not.
I say, send in the grafitti artists!

We had a mysterious pyramid of rocks appear on top of one of the hills in the Union Gap south of Yakima. Seems there was a guy who carried a rock to the top as part of his exercise routine and stacked them into a pyramid that ended up like 12 feet tall. Eventually, people started to notice it and wondered what was going on, a story hit the paper and the guy fessed up. So far no copy cats.

Band should really be called Stynx...
But I must admit I did see them in concert in the 70's...the Cars opened (before their 1st album came out) and were vastly better.

Lol. Send him to Tiger Mountain and have him carry gravel for the mud spots.

Mightn't that cause a landslide in that area?

It just gets more and more weird....
When treeswarper posted the link about a monolith showing up in Atascadero CA, I was intrigued. My wife grew up there and we have hiked up to that point many times (it’s a easy short hike in a green space right in town).
Now - this: https://keyt.com/news/san-luis-obispo-county/2020/12/03/atascadero-monolith-destroyed-by-vandals/
These folks pulled it down and put up a cross. Various other sources and videos had them going on a rant about satan, Qanon, trump, illegal aliens and america first.
