Snow depths this year are currently somewhat above average at 4000-5000' and exceptionally deep above 6000' to 6500-7000'. However, what happens between now and mid-summer is anybody's guess; if it is warm and sunny for long spells like last summer that could change like it did last year. Stay flexible as Kim said, it is much too early to try to predict what it will be like by late July.

Good points. I had never even known about snotel data until Tactical mentioned it. Will have to look. Seems like a very interesting resource.
