Millions of ticks! Everywhere! Feasting on those were thousands of scorpions. Everywhere! The scorpions were all over the rocks and hanging from their venomous prehensile tiles from every single cluster of sage brush we passed by. Hunting and munching down on ticks. It was like a biblical plague. Crazy!
I managed to snap a few photos between all the swat'n, slap'n, stomp'n & squash'n

I guess my timing is lucky -- we didn't see or have any issues 3 weeks ago.

Bootpathguy aka "The Scorpion Whisperer" By the time I was done, I had 2 of them doing the tango on the palm of my hand. But to answer your question... Nothing

C'mon folks. All the BS I've posted, it amazes me that anybody here takes me serious. But still fun to razz some of you fine folks There were no ticks and I find scorpions over there all the time. Just flip over a few rocks There really was a walrus at Colchuck Lake though. I swear!

I saw that walrus at Colchuck Lake too. I was surprised no one had mentioned it.

Well, you made a believer out of me agree.gif I'm just paranoid about ticks and I love hiking over there, now the wildflower's are blooming. Good to know you didn't see any, they're out, but I never knew there were scorpions over there. Now the Walrus sighting, hmmmm rolleyes.gif Happy trails, Toni

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.
