Thank you for the insight Dave. I hope to climb south hozomeen this year as well, and am excited to have my own opinion regarding which one is harder. I do really well on loose rock but we will see how that crux ends up. It's great to hear about your experience on Lincoln. That would have been sweet to have been able to plunge step down the upper gullies . Scary about the crevasse though. Where exactly was that? Below the waterfall gully somewhere? We didn't see any crevasses other than the two bergschrunds on the ascent, the first of which we had the 80 degree crux, but bypassed on the descent via the waterfall gully.
