It was Mother's Day so 2 of us non-mothers took a one-way hike from the Laguna Mtns. down into the Cuyamaca Mtns. This was a hike described in one of my guidebooks that I'd yet to check out, so I figured it was high time. We left a car @ each end, & hiked from the Penny Pines TH to the Sweetwater/Harvey Moore TH, with lunch in between @ Granite Springs Primitive Camp.
