I wonder if someone is cutting or will cut back the brush. The brush did appear to be already cut back on the section of road between the Minnow Creek and Basalt Pass trailheads.
My son-in-law trail ran the "Plain 100" last year which includes some of that area. He said the dirt bikers do brush work on that road to keep it open to them. But according to him they just need it to be as wide as their handlebars. But I think the horse folks might so some trimming also.

I mistyped -- I meant it appeared to be already cut back below the Minnow Creek trailhead (but NOT between Minnow Creek and Basalt Pass trailheads).

The Chikamin Ridge Rd (FR 6210) up to the Basalt Ridge trailhead will definitely do some damage to your car's paint job due to encroaching brush. There is also a small section sluffing off down a steep embankment about 1/2 mile from the trailhead which won't be an easy fix if it gets any worse. For the time being, getting past this is a a non issue.
I don't mind paint job that much, but does the road otherwise okey for a sedan or needs 4x4 high clearance? Thank you.

Aside from the brush, the road wasn't bad as I recall.
