I'm sure others have better and more recent info. I was up there at the end of April. I didn't notice any problems with the creek washout (although I wasn't the driver) and it was significantly better than March 2016 when most of the vehicles in our group took the uphill side detour to get onto the far bank. In April, that wasn't necessary and everyone went straight across.
Was up there a few days ago. Made it fine in my Rav4. I think there was an Outback at the trailhead too.
Bumpy with pot holes, but no big deal really unless you drive some kind of tiny sardine can.
The 6 miles of gravel road to the Dingford trailhead was fixed up by the USFS this spring so a pump truck could get up to the trailhead to empty the overflowing toilet tank (gross!). We haven't had any rains hard enough to scour the washes so they're all still in good shape. There are lots of pot holes however.
Got up to the Dingford TH with my Elantra today. Its bumpy, potholey, and rough in several places, but it should be doable in most standard sedans. The Garfield Creek washout and the next one were quite easily navigated.
