Looking for info on "Old Gib," I typed the title into the search option box with no results. A TR by Justus S was posted in 2013 and I just posted a report which doesn't come up either. Is there something in the title that is creating this issue? Three letter rule?

Hi Rich, I tried and confirmed nothing comes up using the built in search function.  I used this in Google and found lots of Old Gib reports: site:www.nwhikers.net "Old gib"

Post script: dog brings up nothing but dogs brings up lots.  So you are on to something re the 3 letter rule.

The search function on websites like this (discussion forums) don't work with words of three characters or less.
Best way to get around this is to use Google (or another search engine) and keywords "(subject) nwhikers.net" (ie: " old gib nwhikers.net " )

. . . along the lines of Ski's suggestion, like this (Yours is the first hit.)

. . . or this (including "justus")  ...his 2013 report is the third hit.

(Or viewable via Justus S's profile's "tr" listing. (second page, fifth report from the top)

--To restrict the Google search to the nwhikers.net site, type:
site:nwhikers.net     [...and then your search terms...]

OK. Thanks folks. Use Google+ nwhikers for three-letter or less names.

Excellent. Thanks, Tom. I've seen that Google feature but never used it.
