A hot and humid day up Mt. David. The trail has a fair amount of blowdowns in the first few miles. I tried to clear as much as I could, but some saws would be nice. Once on the ridge the trail was in pretty good shape. We were happy to have ice axes for some short snow crossings to get to the last bit of the trail to the summit. There were a few good little trickles where you could get water up high. Lots of flying ants and ladybugs at the top, but enjoyable. I love the toilet so much. A long hike overall and hot, but pretty cool that they put a lookout up there back in the day.
