Did this last Monday with a dear friend just after the drizzle washed the haze away.. It was pretty fortunate timing.. Since the rd to Damfino lks is closed we started at the Excelsior Pass TH and did an out and back.. We got a fair distance down the ridge before we decided to stop for lunch.. and we had to then sit and look at Shuksan and Baker... and everything else.. After a good long break we decided to head back.. going up and over the ridge peaks.. No one had been up there for a very longtime I'd guess... I've never seen (eaten) so many blueberries.. there were bear tracks on quite a bit of the ridge trail but we never saw who made them.. Wonderful hike completely by ourselves.. 11 miles with 4400 ft elev
vTommyhoi and Mt Larabee
vThere's actually someone standing on the summit in this shot.. So if you climbed Shuksan last Monday.. there you are..
So those were the views I was missing when I was up there in the haze. Looks nice, probably gonna have to go back again some time. I did eat a few berries, but I left you some.
