Kinda oil you pourin' on popcorn? Been exploring this of late, getting pretty deep into the scene. Like the pool to at least cover the maids at bottom bowl when your done
Noticing salt is the key! More oil, more salt. Gotta salt it big otherwise starts tasting like oil

My favorite popcorn topping is nutritional yeast. I pop it using a layer of canola oil in the bottom of the pot.

I pop my popcorn in lunch bags in the microwave (1/3 cup popcorn per bag). I knock it into a bowl, rap the bowl and scoop out, leaving unpopped corn behind. Repeat as needed (3 bags for the family. Then I toss with avocado oil and fine sea salt.
Yum.

I should add that I use my Instant Pot sometimes, and in that case I use the avocado oil in it. However, I find air popped is WAY fluffier!

Snappy Popcorn Butter Burst Oil , 1 gallon( 128 fl oz )
by Snappy Popcorn. We're on our 3rd gallon this year.
It makes deadly popcorn you can't stay out of. Great on camping trips, popcorn is a super simple and easy snack food around camp.
Tried this one for variety...
Butter Flavored Coconut Oil by Franklin's Gourmet Popcorn
It's ok but of course being coconut oil based, it hardens up as it cools and that makes the popcorn consistency kind of odd

For the non-vegans, kind of in the vein of nutritional yeast ... grated parmesan cheese. No salt required, or very little.

If you don't want your popcorn tasting of oil, use (clarified) butter!
Chocolate popcorn is a great option, too :-)

I have great luck with the Stir Crazy popper.
I use 2 tablespoons of olive oil to 2/3 cup white popping corn. The finished product gets a light sprinkle of freshly ground sea salt. Occasionally, some Old Bay Seasoning adds extra pizzazz.
