Plenty of parking-get their early on nice weekend days until the snow flies. I've parked overnight there numerous times.

East of the pass there is a USFS parking lot. West of the pass NPS. For the PCT the USFS lot makes the most sense. You'll need a NW Forest or America the beautiful pass.

For overnight parking for the PCT, the USFS lot is on the north side of the highway, just east of the pass. The one with the restroom.

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.--E.Abbey

Ranger told me for overnight, you cannot park at the NPS lot and must park in the USFS lot.
