Do you think Flapjacks will be snowed in by Nov. 22? I’m flying in for Thanksgiving from Minneapolis. Also, is the Hoh River Road drivable in a low clearance mini van?

I would think it unlikely we will see snow at low elevations from now until that period. There is really no sign of arctic air building up in British Columbia because of a relatively strong jet stream into Central to Southern BC and Washington that is forecast to continue more or less (a dirty ridge for a few days late this week) through the period to past mid-November. The cold arctic air is being pushed east to at least Saskatchewan and next week drops into the Eastern US. Without that influence snow levels should continue to be moderate to high for the period. A more or less accurate forecast is still about a week out for November 22nd.

Well Flapjacks is out of the picture as my flight is delayed enough from Minneapolis that I won't have enough energy to attempt it tomorrow. So it's Upper Hoh River on Friday. That should be fun. I've never been there.
