... if you get the chance. A good friend of mine has an Occulus system. I went for a visit and wound up playing in Google Earth. My buddy is telling me you can go to Venice, or the Great Barrier Reef - no, I went to Park Creek Pass and to Stehekin. It's seriously fun on a rainy day to look around in there at places you've hiked, or are planning to.

Unfortunately there's no Daydream version yet. Now that the Pixel 3 is out and presumably provides adequate hardware, I hope they put some effort into this. (Not that I plan to upgrade my phone, until it breaks and I'm forced to.) I take summit photospheres so that in the event I'm ever unable to hike, I can still maintain a tiny portion of the experience. Plus it's fun to trip out my grandma.
