I recall seeing a map a while back that had the small glacier above goblin lake named as goblin glacier. this is on the east side of kyes peak. I searched several old maps, and none of them have it named. is anyone familiar, or know which map I may have seen it on?
Any chance that the name was just dropped during a standard topo map revision/reissue? Little details like that sometimes get eliminated due to various conventional practices by the agency. At least that was my experience when I was obsessed with the Canadian Rockies and was in the habit of poring over maps for interesting, obscure details when not "out there". My 2nd guess might be you saw it in something related to the history of Monte Cristo.

you could be correct Anne. then there is option three that I am just imagining things. or the Mandela effect.
I used this site and looked at several maps..
