So I was down in Bend last week.
Went for a loverly little hike with some friends of a friend.
Paul (the 75yo, who was just back from going to the Everett Base camp.
And then on to a monastery near Annapurna )
Said: You have to accept that your body can't do things
the way it use to.
BUT. You don't have to accept, that you CAN'T do it at all.
I just thought that was beautiful and I wanted to pass it along.
Live every day like you will die to-marrow.
For some day that will be true.

Thanks, that gives me just that much more inspiration to (try to) complete some of the summits I still have in mind.

That is some nice wisdom. I once used it to keep hiking despite becoming morbidly obese.
