I hiked up the Dirty Harry's Trail to the base of the large talus field where the Web Mountain Trail branches off, about 3.5 miles from the TH. I took that trail as it followed along the base of the talus field. The trail soon became more of a faint path and 1/2 from the junction, the trail leveled off as it entered a large basin and the snow got deeper. I left the trail and scrambled up the talus north up to the ridge.
I hung a left on the ridge and followed it west up to Peak 4272, named as Coincidence Point on Peakbagger. But I like the name "Dirtyweb" better (since Dirtybox is on the other side of DHP).
On the other side of the peak the ridge narrowed and I followed it until it led to where I scrambled down some easy class 3 talus that led the the saddle portion of the ridge between DHP and DWP.
From there I simply followed the ridge through the forest until I met up with the DHP Trail which I took to the top.
Yeah the snow didn't start until above the museum. The deepest snow I encountered was in the basin before Web Mountain. Got too deep to walk through without the big shoes so that was when I headed up the talus. Amazing how that entire giant talus field was almost all bare still!
