Has anyone visited the Middle Fork Teanaway trail (#1393) in winter? Good snowshoeing? Looks like it stays low but are there any views to be had? I assume less use by riders at this time of year... Alternatively, looking for recommendations on some good Teanaway ramblings in the vicinity before the 29P closure. Ridges/summits preferred. We've done Yellow/Elbow and Tarzan/Teanaway Buttes. SLS would be another option. We've done Cooper River, Hex, Jolly, etc. Maybe Red? We attempted that a few winters ago but were turned off by the amount of traffic on that long road walk in. TIA!

I would think the creek crossings might be tricky....

Sasse via Howsen Creek #1349. It's in a "voluntary non-motorized" area.
