I don't know if this is the right venue, but my SO and I finished a thru hike in September and if anyone or couple is in the midst of planning a 2019 thru hike, we wanted to offer a sounding board as far as planning/gear/hiking for 5 months with your partner/whatever else. It was a great experience for us!

Someone on reddit was just asking about this, fwiw (https://www.reddit.com/r/PacificCrestTrail/comments/ackqx0/thruhiking_as_a_couple/). Congrats for making it happen! If you end up posting your story somewhere I'm sure a lot of folks here would enjoy reading it.

Yes, I for one, would like to read such a story. That seems to me like such an incredible accomplishment. Well done!

Thanks, we we're lucky and didn't have any 'real' injuries and also avoided getting sick . . . So I don't know if I'm helpful for the Reddit couple.
