Very sad story, this has been happening a lot in recent years, people falling off cliffs or waterfalls. When I first took my ex hiking in WA she went right up to the edge of a wet, stream ravine and I pulled her back and told her how dangerous it was. Now I always show her these when I see them.

This sort of thing is always sad to read about. Dang, only 25 years old.  RIP, sir.
