Turkeys are cool, love to see them with the sun on their shiny feathers. What's the coyote's interest in the tree, did you leave something there for him? Or did someone else? I've been surprised how prosperous your bears look. We don't see too many early in the year here (mostly August and beyond), but the ones we see, usually look like they need some groceries. up.gif

It is as though I had read a divine text, written into the world itself, not with letters but rather with essential objects, saying: Man, stretch thy reason hither, so thou mayest comprehend these things. Johannes Kepler

Anyway, I've actually grown kinda bored with these wolves. Will probably go seek out a neighboring pack or look for evidence of a new pack. I've already found some sign. It's been alot of fun. Also, still need to go find a wolverine.
Went high into the mountains today. Missed this animal by a few hours, maybe minutes
wolverine foot nearly as large as an adult wolf

Will go back and make a camera set tomorrow. Wish me luck
Went to retrieve my camera this afternoon. I hung 2 cow femurs hoping to attract a wolverine. Struck out again. Captured alot of Jay's and a pine marten who returned to scavenge on the bones for several evenings

Perfect shot, BPG, so lovely. The nice diagonal movement across the camera plane as though it were a planned movie setup. Do you pick the places to set up by searching out obvious game trails?

That's a plump looking bear! Is that typical for early summer/late spring?
