Planning a trip there. I know it was closed. Is it open again.

I heard the same--that the Middle Fork road is close after the Mailbox trailhead. A friend of mine walked up the road to the old Granite Creek trailhead and he headed up to the bridge. Some snow on the trail but not need for traction devices.

The Goldmyer Hot Springs website says that the road may open in the first or second week of April.

Per King County it's 100% open as of 3 pm Friday.

On a whim, I checked out the mid fork road today, and found that it is very much open now. So the King County info is accurate. Drove to the Mid Fork Trailhead lot, which still had some snow in it, but was mostly bare. The lower valley is snow-free now, with some patchy snow appearing near the Mid Fork Trailhead.

Good to hear it's actually open..... this morning the barriers past mailbox were on the side of the road. So I just drove up the road, hoping that it was actually ok, and I wouldn't have a ticket....(didn't). I'm glad it's finally open. Yahoo!
