Since it's already Spring and I didn't post any TRs during the winter, I thought I'd share some photos from my winter trips. Most of my trips were short day tours except one BC hut trip and one overnight trip. November: Camp Muir - my 1st day of the skiing season
Best to stay away from ice fall
Best to stay away from ice fall
December: McClure Rock - very busy weekend at Paradise
December:Merritt Lake - too little snow on the east side
Dec 31/Jan 01: Lake Janus - my 1st solo winter camping
January:around Snow Lake - 2 days of avy course field trips
January: Kokanee, BC - my 3rd visit to Kokanee Glacier Hut
: stars at Kokanee
: more at Kokanee
February: Avalanche Mtn
March: West Granite
March: Norse Peak - my 1st visit after the fire
March: Silver Peak - almost Spring!
March: Chair Peak - definitely Spring
Although it seemed really short, I guess I had a pretty good winter after all smile.gif

Great pics Kenji. Where is that house located?

borank.gif For reasons that escape me, I gradually stopped getting out of the sack for the sunrise after transitioning from a film camera to a digital camera. Other than that, I am only a large helping of both skill and talent short of taking pictures like that myself! hihi.gif

The Kokanee hut is located just North of Nelson BC. It's a gorgeous log cabin with electricity and indoor plumbing, etc. It is public with permits by lottery.
