Hi, since SR-20 is open I'm hoping to plan some adventures next month (earliest would be ~May 20th), looking for thoughts. I've hiked in the area before but not frequently & not in early season. At the moment I'm just exploring options. I know there will still be snow up high but are the following trails likely to be travelled, or will I be breaking trail: from Bridge Ck @ SR-20, Bridge Ck trail, McAlester Ck, Rainbow Ck, Boulder Ck, Purple Ck, Rainbow Lk. I'm also wondering about avi risk in the following locations (based purely on topo maps): 1. McAlester Pass on McAlester Ck trail 2. on Boulder Ck trail: War Creek Pass & the ridgeline between Reynolds camp & Juanita Lk camp 3. on Rainbow Lk trail: the contour below Bowan Mtn / above Rainbow Lk. I know this is all speculative but are there frequently cornices in these spots, just waiting to swallow early season hikers...? Thanks for any advice.

#3 strikes me as the biggest slide risk on that list, at least if you are following the summer trail.
