Any reports anywhere on the snow conditions around EightMile lake?

Eightmile Lake is over 4600 feet, it definitely has snow still. The approach road 7601 is still closed for the Season. https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/okawen/alerts-notices/?cid=stelprdb5308542 Icicle Creek is open to Bridge Creek which is the turnoff for road 7601( Eightmile Lake and Lake Stuart )

Kind of around, but not really. Weekend report. Icicle creek trail had 2 spots of snow to French creek, probably dry far beyond.. Icicle ridge was a dry climb with crotch deep postholing on top. Trail runners not recommended. Hatchery creek was snow free to the ridge. And whatever the waterfall is behind the Alps candy place was forcefully ejecting water over the edge like a giant fire hydrant. It was 80 degrees on sunday! Camped at 8 mile lake in January. Did not know it was there at the time, but on our exit we realised we where all of 50 yards from a snow cave building machine. If you make it, and conditions are bad, you could always drive it back down.
