I'm an east coast hiker coming west for some hiking this summer. I'll be hiking with friends in the area around Rainier for a week and then am hoping to go out on my own for an early August backpack in the Goat Rocks Wilderness. My plan is to start and end at the Snowgrass Flats trailhead. In the northeast, we have some businesses that offer pickup at trailheads for a fee. Is there anything similar in the Goat Rocks area? I think I can get to the trailhead okay from my friends who are leaving town but would need to be picked up from the trailhead and probably brought to the Centralia Amtrak Cascades station to catch a train back to Seattle. Any ideas? Thanks for your thoughts.
