Originally released in The Cabinet Mtns of Montana, this collared bear has travelled to Kelly Creek, many miles south.

For the first time in more than a decade, a grizzly bear was spotted in a remote section of north central Idaho recently, and Idaho Fish and Game officials are cautioning black bear hunters to choose their targets with care.
Hmmm...as the crow flies, that isn't really far from where a few grizzly sightings have occurred in North Idaho Panhandle recently, on or near the NF of the Coeur d'Alene River. A grizzly could make that distance in 2-3 days, easily. The Cabinets are not really that far either...maybe 100 miles as the crow flies.
I suspect grizzlies have been down in the NF Clearwater drainage for awhile.
