Does anyone know where I can still get a GoLite Odyssey 80 liter backpack, new or a good used one?  I realize the company went out of business, but am hoping there some of those backpacks are still out there in new or good condition.

This is not a helpful reply smile.gif  but I've got two of them mainly for winter activities to hold all that extra bulky gear, still in great shape.  I did have mesh added to the top of the pockets on one of them to make the pockets taller.

Really like these - huge, relatively lightweight for their size, pretty sturdy material.  Good luck finding one, maybe ebay...

By modern standards that a fairly heavy pack at 3 pounds and 10 ounces.  The Golite also had PU coated fabric that may not be in best shape 12+ years later.

Something like a ULA Catalyst (75 liters) at 3 lbs would be a comparable pack with lots of custom sizing options.

I have an old 85 Liter pack (the boat anchor) that I use for winter use only.  With modern equipment, there seldom any reason to need for more than 50 liters for three season use.

I've had a ULA Catalyst for over ten years. Love it.
