Spelling correction Brake bars and Pecks. Brake bars require non wire gates, something hard to buy https://vintageclimbing.com/collections/mountaineering-gear/nuts

I imagine the Chouinard nuts are "collectible. Since the website Snowshovel linked is selling a set of 3 Chouinard bashies for €700 eek.gif you may want to try to cash in on Ebay or something! Though maybe we should take their prices with a grain of salt - they appear to be selling a fairly recent DMM I-beam style wiregate carabiner for €70, a recent modern BD figure 8 for €199 (a new one is $20 MSRP), and a set of "plastic nuts" for €199.... confused.gif

Go! Take a gun! And a dog! Without a leash! Chop down a tree! Start a fire! Piss wherever you want! Build a cairn! A HUGE ONE! BE A REBEL! YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE! (-bootpathguy)

Thanks Bosterson....20 years ago I sold all the large nuts to a guy in montana who collected this stuff and he paid a lot more than what I am asking here...but since then, Ive had no bites. But I am lazy and have only used CL. It might be time to raise my sales game.

^ ebay selling fees are currently running right about 13.5%, so set your prices accordingly.

got my price on CL and met a very interesting guy from Ballard. We talked for an hour. We both had time on our hands....hah... He makes dog leash handles out of the nuts and hand braids the appropriate size rope into it for the leash part.
