Hello all! I am considering a late October hike and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on this one. WTA has a listing for Southwest Loowit Loop (12.7 miles). The length is perfect and I've never hiked in this particular area, but wondered if anyone had been there recently. I'd be into other options...antything that is a loop and up to 20 miles roundtrip. Thanks and I appreciate any input.

The WTA hike reports might be helpful. Loowit Trail Hiked July 4 2019 Loowit Trail, Truman Trail, Plumice Plains Oct 20 2018 There are deer, elk, bear, grouse, etc. hunting seasons in October. You can look at the Washington Dept of Fish & Wildlife internet site for Hunting Seasons and Regulations.
