Several years back I purchased a CD from the Ultimate Trail Store (ATC) entitled Appalachian Trail Mate (AT Mate). It was very useful for planning trips on the AT. Unfortunately, I sold that CD, then later purchased a digital download of the same software from barker-innovations.com. Recently my PC crashed, and I lost everything including my AT Mate. Now the website is no longer available for me to repurchase this program, so I'm turning to you. Does anyone have one of these CD's that you would sell, or loan me just long enough for me to install it on my PC? Please message me if you can help! Thanks ...

Sorry you lost that info. This is the danger of the information age. Unless you back it up there is a problem in recovering or finding it again.
Change of format, upgrades whatever. Music, photos or books, the loss can be devastating.
Wish you the best.

Thanks for the reply Waterman, just wish that you had one of the CD's. To make things even worse, the website of the AT Mate developer www.barker-innovations.com doesn't seem to be available anymore. I purchased a digital download once from that site but now ???. If you hear of this program being available anywhere, would appreciate you letting me know.

Is there NO ONE that has this CD and would consider loaning or selling it to me? Surely there was more than three that was originally sold.

This site requires you to download a bunch of their junk and it still will not download the AT Mate. I tried it and had to go back and remove a bunch of useless files that they downloaded.
So be warned-- stay away from this one.

Art - Sorry it turned out to be a clunker, instead of a BINGO! Presume you've already looked around/posted your query to east-coast oriented hiker forums.
Have you seen this widget? https://www.postholer.com/planner/Appalachian-Trail/3
Looks like it might be useful, even if not as sophisticated as the program you lost.

Thanks Anne Elk... I have a WTB: posted on every site that I could think of , including pages on Facebook.
The postholer widget is interesting but not as useful as the AT Mate. Blessing today!
