Heard there was a fire by phantom lake goat rocks area. USFS fire quickly contained and burnt less than a few hundred acres, but can't find any official reports of it.
There were many strikes near the Goat Rocks a little over a week ago - some of which could erupt if conditions were right. There was also about .3" of rain more or less at that time.

It looked as if firefighters were in the Phantom area a week ago, flagging, etc. typical of fire crews no sign of it burning anywhere near a hundred acres or at all. I was in the Goat Rocks last week when the storms hit, there was fairly significant rain with some of the storms. Have been up there this week and have seen no sign of fires, smoldering, etc.
