Heading out for a long Alpine's fishing trip have several Lake clusters in mind and we'll narrow it down here in a few days. I will be out from August 16th through the 24th. Maybe some off Trail or Fisherman's Trail navigating, actually will be. I'm a moderate hiker don't like to do more than 5 or so miles a day depending on Terrain if someone wants to team up with me all or part of the time I'll get more specific. No offense to the gals but needs to be a guy. I usually take a pack raft and have an extra one that weighs 4 or 5 pounds with the paddles.

Ended up going to the lower and upper Jordan lakes in Skagit County, was a great trip. Had some company the first 3 days and stayed a few more until the rain came in. Wanted to head up to falls lakes but I had enough fish and wasn't in the mood to be alone. I will be back. I think I have a couple more Friday thru Sunday trips after Labor day in me, looking for something with a spectacular alpine view. I know, around here we are blessed with hundreds of places in the Cascades.
