My last visit 2 years ago was a quick overnighter and wished for more days to wonder around. This time Dick invited me to join his Mtnr trip of 4 days to loop the ridge, the river and back. Flower season had peaked a while ago, but there were very few bugs.
On the way to Silesia camp:

There are two camp sites at Silesia, ours was a bit tight for 4 1p tents

3rd day was a long hike down to US Camp:

We all had good sleep with steady creek sound as background. Now just back up to the Hannegan Pass and out:
