Did an amazing backpack up to Thunder Basin at the head of Thunder Creek, but unfortunately my Natl Geo map is not helping much with names of the spectacular peaks in the area. Hoping somebody can help. #1 - This is the high point on the ridge west of Park Creek Pass. At first I thought it was Buckner Mtn, now I don't think so. Is it named?
#2 This is Buckner Mtn, right?
#3 Mt. Logan?
#4 A spire on the ridge maybe NW of Logan (above) - does it have a name?
#5 Looking north - Picket Range?
#6, and lastly, this amazing scene directly across (west) from the Junction camping area. Name? What kind of rock is this anyway? Just imagining Beckey climbing that long ridge.

Nice pics! Love that place. Here's what I think, maybe someone else can confirm or correct me here. 1. Based on your description I think it would make this an unnamed point at the top of the NE Face of Buckner. E Ridge of Buckner on the left. 2. Booker Mountain 3. Mount Logan South Peak 4. I think this is "V Peak" per CalTopo but I'm not sure 5. Primus Peak, Tricouni Peak, and Colonial Peak (L-R) 6. Tricouni Peak

I camped in that same campsite few weeks back. I hid the bear canister off left behind the tent thru the little saloon door trees cross the break in the trees then under a tree.
