I went up the Duckabush for three days last weekend. The trail is in great shape (thanks WTA!) well into the Upper Duckabush with one glaring exception. For a brief stretch along the trail well above the river just before Ten Mile camp, the trail is disintegrating. It is essentially a ledge on a gravel section. There is a steep gravel bluff on one side and an almost equally steep gravel slope on the other, dropping off into the river a hundred or more metres below. The trail crew appears to have done a great job of trying to widen the footpath but it is already crumbling at the edges. The trail is one slide away from being bisected twenty minutes before Ten Mile.
