I'll always be a hiker at heart. A few years ago I got this bike on a whim. It was to fill in the gaps between when either the weather wasn't so good or when I wasn't feeling like hiking.
I found out that fat bikes aren't just for sand and snow!
With all this talk of electric bikes I thought I'd share. Not all bikes with big tires have motors!!!
My siblings live in Anchorage and have 907 brand snow bikes. 4 inch studded tires. Make for awesome fun on the many miles of snow bike trails that grace. Anchorage ( many illuminated ).
They also have more standard mountain bikes for the summer.
"Its converted itself"
Taco'd the granny gear near "Outback" (trail) at Tokul, the Snoqualmie Tree Farm bike trails.
Not bad as a 1x10.
I traded one lever for another when I got the Fox Transfer dropper seat post. The 'dropper is actuated by a lever. Fox Transfer has been awesome! No play. Helpful when descending steeps, stairs!
