Steven invited me to join him for some peaks this morning before he had to go to work.  Started at Damfino Lakes trailhead which was surprisingly busy when we returned, 20+ people on the trail.

Cowap Peak - 5658'

Both of these peaks have official trails going near the summit, and then unofficial trails going to the summit.  There's one narrow spot in the summit ridge of Cowap.

Canyon Ridge East - 5408'

We didn't plan for this one, but there was extra time.  Berries are past their prime.  No registers on either peak.  Bring some up here.  Shame on you jackals who remove registers!

The skin of these little guys look a little shiny for salal or blueberries, what did you get a handful of? Are they just wet blueberries?

Some nice colors coming out up there!

I believe they are black huckleberries, possibly wet, but often shiny.
