Never been to this area but was highly recommended and told loop may be doable in late October. Anyone know if there's snow and if it's passable? Sincerely - out of towner

Snotel report for Pigtail Peak shows: Pigtail Peak Washington SNOTEL Site - 5800 ft 10/21/2019 Snow Depth 16” 10/23/2019 Snow Depth 8” 10/24/2019 Snow Depth 7” If you are prepared and experienced in snow hiking, climbing, and camping - I expect you should be OK. The recent heavy warm rain melted a lot of the snow and there might be washouts of the roads accessing the Goat Rocks trailheads.
