This is an interesting article in the Seattle Times (Oct 27, 2019), titled: Wall Street spends millions to buy up Washington state water. That sounds pretty ominous. The article has personal stories, interviews, great photos and useful graphics about water rights, water banking, family farms, and corporate investment. The Methow Valley is featured in the article. Lots of discussion of the Columbia and its tributaries. ~z
