Totem is a sailboat based (from?) Seattle, and I've been loosely following their adventures for a while. Anyway, the cruising community is feeling (and dealing with) similar problems to the hikers, and that is too many are flocking to well known areas and (apparently) are not doing so in a thoughtful, respectful manner. The description is found here. From this link you can dig around a bit and read of their many other adventures. And, reading of a warm day on a boat certainly IS a nice diversion to watching the snow pile up outside today. Happy trails, all smile.gif
