|Its the CCWRC (Central Cascades Winter Recreation Counci) last offical work party of the season!
Saturday November 9th, 10 AM - Lake Easton State Park.
We need a crew of about 15 folks. There is plenty of work to do. We will be pushing rocks and logs off edges of trails, limbing and some minor culvert brushing.
The ranger will open the gate for us so we can drive to the end of the pavement. He also would like to talk safety with us first (and sign waivers) so we must be on time.
We expect to take about 2-4 hours to spiff up the routes. These have not seen any winter maintenance in a very long time.
Bring gloves, pole saws, and loppers and dress for the weather.
If anyone is interested after the trails are prepped for groomers, we can explore potential snowshoe routes off the groomed routes.
Just drive to where the gate is closed (Should be past RV campground) and that is where we will meet.
