I clicked on 25 mile creek and it does not work. Kind of reminds me of their reservation system that I hate.
What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

Is it just me or... I tried opening that link and my computer with two windows/three tabs opened just completely froze. I couldn't even Ctl-Alt-Del out of it. Yikes. ~z
No problem for me. I notice a few features aren't working yet but most of what I see works fine. There may be pretty heavy traffic to the site because it just hit the newspapers today.
Forks of the Sky has a pretty nice view from the top of Upper Town Wall at Index
Love this. Is WA the only state that has these? Would be great in trip planning outside the state - better than https://www.campsitephotos.com/
I have serious FOBO when trip planning.

I really like 360 views -- on a big screen it's about as close as you can get to being somewhere (until virtual reality becomes commonplace).
But there's something special about these 360 virtual tour shots. Check out the "Big Eddy" view at Forks of the Sky. As you rotate the view to face the sun the exposure of the entire photo lights up as if you were there looking into the sun, including lens flare. This is not just a 360 static photosphere like Google Photo supports (I love those). I don't know what technology supports this lighting change effect.
Lookin at that p'louse to cascades trail, imagining reenacting a Oregon trail type deal.
Oregon trail type experience. Get people to pay you large sums to take them cross E WA in a conestoga. Just cut all the corners when it comes to service and call it authentic!! Might be the next big tourism boom, never really know.
