RichP: there is an article in the Lewiston Tribune today about the acquisitions possible in southeastern Washington. Included are the Green Gulch area you like, others in Asotin and Garfield counties. Some interesting perspectives. (The book, Forest Dreams, Forest Nightmares by Nancy Langston offers a great look at how the Blue mountains were managed in the past. Presenting a hard look at the effects that logging, grazing and agriculture have had on the Blue mountains.)
